My first quilt design is an English Paper Piecing pattern.
The inspiration for the Mozaikstar quilt comes from Spanish Mediterranean tiles and mozaïk arts that can be found around town in Madrid.
I wanted to make an EPP pattern that is different...

The easiest way to baste the shapes is to use glue, and it's the best technique to me, since it's quick and easy to do.
My pattern includes printable templates, that you can print and cut at home at any time, and you have it for reprinting whenever you wish.
It's so fun to sew all the blocks together and watch the Mozaikstar quilt coming together.... I was sewing the shapes on the road, in the car, in the metro, on a terrace, in the park, everywhere.
This is what I love most about English Paper Piecing, the project you make can go with you wherever you go!
The Mozaikstar quilt you see at my pictures is measuring 48" by 48", and consist of 9 blocks.
There is the possibility to make the big version as well, with 12 blocks, and that one will measure 48" by 64".
I absolutely loved making a pillow case to go with my quilt, and have tried some fancy quilt stitchings! The pillow case instructions are included in the pattern.....
It was so good to release my first Quilt pattern, it gave me the strength to make more Quilt projects!!!!
